Application of Brushless Motor in Electric Wheelchairs

Application of brushless motors in electric wheelchairs:
When the motor is working, the coil and commutator rotate, but the magnet and carbon brush do not rotate. The alternating change of coil current direction is achieved by the commutator and brush rotating with the motor.
2. Brushless motors consist of a motor body and a driver, and are typical electromechanical integrated products. Due to the fact that brushless DC motors operate in automatic control mode, they do not add another starting winding to the rotor like synchronous motors with heavy load starting under variable frequency speed regulation, and there will be no oscillation or step loss when the wheelchair load suddenly changes.
3. This product has stable performance. The motor is an upgraded product with better lifespan and performance than brushed motors, but the control circuit is complex, and brushless motors have strict requirements for component aging screening. Although motors have a long lifespan, the control circuit is prone to problems. Therefore, the selection of motors should undergo rigorous reliability testing to ensure their quality. However, with the continuous upgrading of technology, the technology of motors has become quite mature.
In the actual production process, due to the high-speed nature of motors with toothed brushes, the teeth of the gears are very small, but they have great strength and strong climbing ability. The motor saves the trouble of replacing carbon brushes for two to three years. However, in the process of controlling brushless motors, the accuracy is very high.
Brushless motors have applications in many fields, from industrial to daily life details, allowing us to enjoy the convenience they bring to people. This is also one of the reasons why they can be widely used.
