The application of brushless motors in the field of household appliances

brushless motorIn the vast world and various industries, electricity is indispensable. Brushless motors are a commonly used type of motor and are widely used in many fields, especially in the home appliance industry. Their outstanding contributions and advantages should not be underestimated.
Household electric fans can be divided into table fans, ceiling fans, ventilation fans, and box fans according to their structure. In recent years, air conditioning fans (i.e. cooling fans) have emerged. In addition, windless fans developed in recent years will bloom everywhere in China. In addition, many electric fans are developing towards multifunctionality using electronic and microcomputer technology, but their main power motor will be important. Under the call for energy conservation and emission reduction both domestically and internationally, brushless motors will replace other motors in the field of electric fans in the future.
1. Motors for table fans and ceiling fans
Most desktop fans use single-phase capacitor operated motors with an input power of 32-85w. In order to reduce costs, desktop fans with smaller blade diameters also use single-phase shrouded stepper motors.
In order to meet people's requirements, brushless motors use reactors, winding heads, and electronic circuits for speed regulation.
The motor for the ceiling fan adopts a single-phase capacitor operation motor, with a fully enclosed outer rotor structure and an input power of 75-100W. This motor has 14, 16, or 18 types. Its rotational speed is slow, thus achieving the goal. The motor adopts multi tap reactors and conversion switches for speed regulation.
2. Box type fans use motors
The fan of a box type fan is usually driven by a single-phase capacitor operated motor, which is usually adjusted by winding taps. The louver guide wheel (i.e. grille) in front of the box type blade changes the wind direction and wind force in various directions through the rotation of the guide wheel. The guide wheel is driven by a single-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor after deceleration.
3. Air conditioning fan motor (cooling fan)
The temperature of the air blown by this fan is lower than that of a regular fan. The principle is that the water (or ice water) curtain is slowly moved up and down by a single-phase asynchronous motor or a single-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor. The fan driven by a single-phase capacitor motor blows out air with a certain humidity around the water curtain, making people feel drier in hot weather. The effect of the brushless motor blowing out cold air is more obvious because it has a certain humidity and can purify the air.
Brushless motors have a relatively short development time in China, but with the maturity and improvement of technology, they have developed rapidly. It has been widely used in many fields such as airplane models, household appliances, electric vehicles, etc.
