Classification and application of brushless DC deceleration motors:
DC brushless deceleration motors are generally divided into two categories: DC motors with commutators and DC motors without commutators. DC motors are not as good as exchange motors in terms of layout, price, and protection functions, but the speed control performance of exchange motors has not been satisfactory for a long time. Therefore, DC motors have been widely used due to their good control characteristics. Today, although the speed control achievements of the exchange motor have been processed, it will take a considerable amount of time due to equipment investment and necessary reforms. The speed control of exchange motors has not yet been widely adopted, and the DC motor system is still widely used.
The DC motor speed control system adopts a constant DC voltage to supply power to the DC motor, and completes speed control by converting the resistance in the armature circuit through a process. This type of method is simple and easy to implement, with convenient equipment manufacturing and low cost; But the problem is that the efficiency is low, the machine features are soft, and it cannot obtain a wide and smooth speed control function. This law only applies to places with low power and small speed regulation requirements. This type of control method can achieve a wide speed regulation scale, a small speed change rate, and smooth speed regulation function. But the important drawbacks of this method are the heavy system weight, large footprint, low effectiveness, and difficult training.
In recent years, with the rapid growth of power electronics technology, the DC motor speed control system powered by thyristor converters has replaced the generator motor speed control system, and its speed control function far exceeds that of the generator motor speed control system. Especially with the rapid growth of large-scale integrated circuit technology and computer technology, the accuracy, static function, and reliability of the DC motor speed control system have made greater progress. The growth of high-power devices such as IGBT in power electronics technology is replacing thyristors, presenting a more functional DC speed regulation system.
